Working for more than two decades in the radio market in the Berlin Brandenburg region – one of the most diverse and competitive radio markets in Germany – his passion for music was always the driving force for Marco. The first step was to turn his hobby into a job: From hanging out in local record shops after school to work in several after graduating, including being a vital part of the launching process of now worldwide operating music and clothing mailaorder company HHV. After that Marco switched sides – from selling records to providing entertainment and music to a much bigger audience.

Over the next fifteen years, he went for a nearly the full circle experience in private radio making from being a drivetime show producer in the beginning at then Berlin-market leading radio station rs2 to a head of music at Berlin’s only rock radio station StarFM in the end. Thereafter, Marco moved on to one of the pop-cultural leading public radio stations in Germany in radioeins. Being part of the radioeins music department as a music coordinator and music editor, he’s fitting musical topics and interviews into the main program, leading the radioeins record of the week deciding process, takes responsibilities in the playlist decisions, monitors the local music scene and last but not least always looks for musical acts and upcoming talents for the daily studioeins live sessions and the famous radioeins parkfest festival once a year.
