Welcome to the SoAlive Music Video Awards!

We are thrilled to announce the SoAlive Music Video Awards, a prestigious event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the outstanding talent in music video production across Southeast Europe. This is your chance to showcase your creativity and win a €10,000 prize to create a new music video with the professional support of Magic Shop.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Eligibility: Open to residents of the listed countries.

  • Video Criteria: Submit music videos created within the last 2 years.

  • Genres: All music genres and styles are accepted.

  • Entry Limit: Up to two music videos per participant.

  • Grand Prize: The winner will receive €10,000 to produce a new music video . Certain conditions apply to ensure the prize is used for its intended purpose. The €10,000 prize for the SoAlive Music Video Awards will be provided as equipment rental, including cameras, lighting, and other production tools, for two full shooting days. The prize supports the production of a high-quality music video with professional guidance from Magic Shop Bulgaria. The video must be filmed in Bulgaria. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation and must be used as outlined.

How to Enter:

  1. Register: Fill out the registration form.

  2. Submit: Complete the submission form and upload your music video(s).

  3. Follow: Stay updated via our social media channels and email newsletters.

Key Dates:

  • Submission Deadline: August 17th

  • Nominees Announcement: September 15th (possible delay may apply)

  • Awards Presentation: October 2-4th at the SoAlive Music Conference 2024

  • Shortlisted Nominees: Will receive complimentary SAMC tickets.

Meet the SoAlive Video Music Awards Jury

Our esteemed jury is composed of some of the most influential and experienced professionals in the music industry:

  • Ruud Berends - Owner of Networking Music International AB, Co-founder and Head of Agenda of IFF in London, UK, European representative of Canadian Music Week, and advisor for Westway Lab and SoAlive Music Conference.

  • Alexander Stanishev - Acclaimed cinematographer known for his work on feature films, TV series, and music videos, bringing a wealth of visual storytelling expertise to the jury.

  • David Fricke - Renowned music journalist with over 40 years of experience at Rolling Stone magazine. David has been nominated for Grammy Awards and has won the ASCAP-Deems Taylor Award for excellence in music journalism three times.

  • Kevin Cole - Chief Content Officer for KEXP, a key figure in elevating the radio station to global recognition, known for his deep passion for music and extensive industry knowledge.

  • Julian Kostov - Bulgarian actor and producer, recognized for his roles in Netflix’s "Shadow and Bone" and Sky TV’s "Temple," Julian brings a unique perspective on the intersection of music and film.

Disclaimer:

The €10,000 prize for the SoAlive Music Video Awards will be provided in the form of equipment rental. This includes any type of equipment needed to create a music video, such as cameras, lighting, sound equipment, and other necessary production tools. The rental period will cover two full shooting days. The prize is intended to support the production of a high-quality music video with the professional guidance and assistance of Magic Shop Bulgaria. The music video must be filmed in Bulgaria.
