Veselin Koev is a 29-year-old music lover from Sofia, Bulgaria. Later, he discovered an old German turntable and a collection of classical music records belonging to his grandmother’s second husband, the renowned Bulgarian conductor Vasil Stefanov. He soon encountered jazz as well, which further shaped his musical taste. After hearing drum and bass one day, he fell in love with electronic music. He began DJing and discovered techno, electro, house, and other electronic genres. He graduated with a degree in Sound Engineering from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and began working as a sound engineer at the Bulgarian National Radio. In March 2023, he and Georgi Chunchukov launched the independent online radio station OFF BEAT.
