Koen ter Heegde

As an independent promoter, agent and label manager, Koen ter Heegde has worked in European underground scenes for over two decades. In 2005 he co-founded the fiercely independent label Subroutine Records, releasing music by more than fifty acts. His platform Yugofuturism focuses on connecting, exporting and exchanging emerging acts from Central and Eastern Europe, from the Baltics to the Balkans. He is also a lecturer at the University of Groningen, manager of Rotterdam post-punk band Tramhaus, curator at festival Peel Slowly and See, and in 2023 initiated the nomadic festival VIKENDICA.
