Welcome to the 3rd edition of SoAlive Music Conference & Festival (SAMC) 2025 in Sofia, Bulgaria!
We are expecting over 800 delegates from the international music business—including booking agents, promoters, festival organizers, digital platforms, labels, music supervisors, cultural organizations, and media outlets. Our showcases will be hosted in some of Sofia’s top venues, giving you the chance to perform on professional stages and benefit from extensive media coverage and local promotional support.

What is a Showcase Festival?
A showcase festival is different from a standard outdoor music festival. It’s where music industry professionals, labels, agents, festival bookers, promoters, media, and cultural organizations gather to discover new and exciting talent. Performing at SoAlive can directly connect you with people who can elevate your career to new markets.
Important Information & Terms of Participation
Who Can Apply?
Live performing artists (solo acts or bands) presenting original music.
Genres: Pop, jazz, hip-hop, electronic music with live instruments, soul, indie, funk, rock, metal, electro-pop, nu-jazz, folk, world music, acoustic pop, and related styles.
Must be from or based in a Balkan country.
If you’re a Bulgarian act, please note that approximately 10 Bulgarian artists will be selected.
What We Provide to Selected Artists
A 45-minute performance slot at SoAlive 2025.
Free festival & conference passes for you, your band members, and your manager/representative.
Access to the delegate database for networking with industry professionals.
Technical support (sound, lighting, basic backline, sound engineer) + backstage catering.
Financial / Accommodation Support:
Foreign bands: 200 EUR for travel and full accommodation coverage.
Bulgarian bands (not based in Sofia): Possibility of travel and accommodation coverage.
No Standard Performance Fee
As a showcase festival, the compensation is different from a typical gig. We cover essential travel/accommodation costs (or offer a symbolic travel stipend) rather than a standard performance fee, following the global model for professional music conferences.
Availability
You confirm that the artist/band is available to perform during the festival dates (14–17 October 2025).
Accurate Information
All application data (bio, music links, band members, etc.) must be accurate. Any changes to the lineup or performance details after selection must be approved by SoAlive. The organizers reserve the right to withdraw the invitation if significant unapproved changes occur.
Promotional Use of Submitted Materials
By submitting, you grant SoAlive permission to use the provided photos, audio, and video for promotional purposes (website, social media, press, etc.). Photo credits will be included where relevant.
