Alexander Walter

Part of the WOMEX team since 2004, first assisting the conferences, then leading the showcase department for several years before becoming the WOMEX Director. He graduated from Berlin’s Humboldt University with a degree in social sciences with a thesis on migration networks. His studies included a one-year stopover at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He also is a musician and has been involved in many music projects and several programming juries from concerts to recorded.
