Korka

Korka is a loud five-piece band from Kochani, Macedonia, which incorporate a plethora of elements from the dissonant noise rock from the 90s and the turbulent alternative rock scene. With their self-titled EP, through noisy riffs and vocals they present you with the terrible life of the anti-hero Risto. Their sound combines cruelty, energy and thematic apathy that reflects the reality of today's youth. With a pronounced DIY aesthetic, a dark atmosphere and lyrics that range from absurd to social commentary, Korka leaves an impression as one of the freshest voices on the Macedonian alternative scene.
