"Kruvenvrag" is the personal and more experimental creative duo of Sava Stoilov and Nikola Panayotov, the songwriting part of the band Parallel, which has been part of the post and indie scene in Sofia for two years. The project was conceptually born with the first rehearsals of Parallel in the fall of 2023, but actually took shape a few months later, as last April the duo recorded their still unreleased first EP "fruit vegetable" at home, which is characterized by vulnerable, intimate lyrics sung over intertwining networks of acoustic guitars, shimmering synthesizer chords and rough bursts of hair and asymmetrical electric guitars, and is inspired by a wide spectrum of new and old music, and is recorded, played and visually presented entirely by the duo, who hold on to the rawness and authenticity of DIY art. Live, the duo expands to a five-piece band with Nikola on guitar and vocals, Sava on guitar, piano and vocals, alongside the rest of "Parallel" featuring drums, bass and, more recently, saxophone.
