This session will explore the evolving role of public affairs and policymaking in shaping Europe’s music sector, particularly in the context of a fragmented regulatory environment, digital transition, and ongoing efforts toward a unified European cultural space. We will address key questions such as: What influence do public affairs have in developing sustainable music markets? How can major and independent actors collaborate to address regional disparities? And how can dialogue between cultural operators and policy institutions be improved for mutual benefit?
