Thomas Golubić, a four-time Emmy-nominated music supervisor, DJ, and twice Grammy-nominated record producer, has made significant contributions to the music industry. His music supervision credits include popular television series such as AMC’s Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad, Poker Face, Silo, Halt and Catch Fire, and The Walking Dead. He has also worked on Netflix’s Grace and Frankie, Space Force, and Love, Amazon’s Sneaky Pete, Showtime’s Your Honor and Ray Donovan, and HBO’s Six Feet Under, among many other film and television projects.

In 2017, Thomas became the president of the Guild of Music Supervisors, the same year he received his first nomination for the Outstanding Music Supervisor Emmy Award for his work on Better Call Saul. He has continued to be recognized for his exceptional work, receiving subsequent nominations in 2019, 2020, and 2022. Notably, he won the GMS Award for Best Song Written/Recorded for Television in 2020 and 2023.

Thomas’s work on Breaking Bad earned him two consecutive Best Music Supervision in a Television Drama awards from the Guild. He was also twice nominated for Grammy awards for producing the soundtracks for volumes 1 and 2 of Six Feet Under. In collaboration with his former partner Gary Calamar, Thomas played a pivotal role in incorporating Sia’s “Breathe Me” into the final scene of the series, which is widely regarded as one of the most memorable musical moments in television history. This collaboration significantly contributed to Sia’s rise to fame in the American music scene.

Beyond his work on Breaking Bad, Thomas has produced four soundtrack albums for The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, and Better Call Saul. He has also been involved in various remix projects for EMI-Capitol Records and MGM.

Thomas, a cultural enthusiast and music producer, hosts the podcast Deep Cuts Lost and Found with his high school friends. The podcast celebrates criminally overlooked songs, curated by year or theme. Thomas’ musical journey began as a DJ, music programmer, and on-air host for the influential LA radio station KCRW 89.9 FM. After a decade at KCRW, he transitioned to music production and live audio/video DJ work. He formed The Arbiters, a music collective known for creating mash-up music and video productions. They released two EPs and collaborated with clients like Google, YouTube, Microsoft, and Levi’s on audio and video mash-ups. Thomas’ innovative club DJ sets feature eclectic music and live synchronized visuals. His SYNCHRONIZE re-score project, which re-scores classic films with live DJ performances, has been showcased at prestigious festivals like Sundance, Bonnaroo, Luminato, Dubrovnik, and the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. He has also been profiled on Turner Classic Movies.
