Stephan Kunze is a writer and culture journalist based in Berlin. His byline has appeared in magazines, newspapers and online media from Germany, the UK and US. He’s worked in leading editorial roles at Germany’s biggest hip-hop magazine Juice and global streaming giant Spotify. His non-fiction book Zen Style was published in 2021 by Arkana/Penguin Random House. Since 2022, he’s been running the Substack best-selling newsletter zensounds on experimental music and culture, and consulting Universal Music Group’s Global Classics & Jazz division, as well as acting as a commissioning editor for Everything Jazz, the online record store for jazz music and culture.
