Nikolay Sabev is a globally touring artist, DJ, writer, speaker, and founder of the vinyl-only record label Druzhba Records. With a career spanning nearly two decades — beginning in 2007 as a supporting act for Andy Fletcher of Depeche Mode — he has performed across Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. As one half of the house & techno duo Fuzoku, he has collaborated with top Japanese producers including Ken Ishii, Hideo Kobayashi, Satoshi Fumi, and Hiroshi Watanabe, with recent shows in Japan as of 2025. He is also the co-creator of the audiovisual project MODE2K, with international appearances across the USA, Mexico, Germany, Italy, and beyond.
Off the stage, Nikolay was part of the editorial team at Resident Advisor in Berlin, contributed to the management of Dimensions and Outlook festivals, and promoted events at iconic London venues Fabric and matter. His vinyl-only record label Druzhba stands as a quiet success in underground techno, with a sold-out catalog built entirely without aggressive marketing.
