United States
Jamie Dee Hart is a music rights management advocate whose mission is to streamline the music industry’s metadata mess. Jamie’s career spans a decade working with artists, labels, and publishers, auditing over 5,000 songs and recovering over $1 million in unclaimed royalties while helping them leverage digital platforms and tools to collect master and publishing royalties accurately. Now, she’s the Founder of Hart & Songs – an artist and rights management firm based in Nashville, TN, dedicated to championing artist teams and companies behind the scenes in bolstering their backend processes, ensuring proper registration practices, implementing effective metadata admin, and providing collection transparency across the board. She also currently consults for Notes, a music royalties startup simplifying royalties for all.
On top of Hart & Songs, Jamie serves on the Board of Directors for We Make Noise, advises UCLA’s student record label, and conducts workshops at universities regularly.
