David Barnes is a strategic executive who uses his 15 years of experience in tech startups and the music industry to help build sustainable careers with artist partners. As the COO of Rhymesayers, he oversees a business umbrella that includes artist management for the likes of Atmosphere, Aesop Rock and the MF DOOM estate, a global E-comm D2C operation, live events and touring, publishing & NIL rights mgmt, along with 30 years of label catalog. David is also on the Board of Directors for A2IM, and previously, the Head of Operations at Vinyl Me, Please, helping scale the vinyl subscription business to be the 2nd largest vinyl distributor in the world until his departure in 2018. He is currently based between Los Angeles and New York City.
