Atlanta Cobb

Founding Director Social Media Consultant / Speaker / Artist Coach , Music Industry Mentor

United Kingdom

Atlanta (Rose) Cobb is a prominent figure in the UK music industry. She is a strategist, coach, and social media marketing powerhouse who has carved out a unique niche at the intersection of artist development, audience building, and digital innovation.

Atlanta has dedicated her entire life to music, spanning over 14 years. Throughout her career, she has worked across various aspects of the industry, including artist management, indie and major label marketing, and social media strategy. She has been a champion of emerging talent and has amplified the voices of artists who often go unheard.

Atlanta’s journey in the music industry began as a passionate fan. She built the first fan-made fan page for Florence and The Machine, “the Florence & The Machine Army,” while she was still in high school. This early experience led her to work alongside Florence Welch’s creative director at London Fashion Week when she was just 15 years old. This formative opportunity would come full circle years later when she joined the marketing team at Island Records, the label that played a crucial role in Florence’s rise to fame. During her time at Island, Atlanta contributed to high-profile album campaigns for artists such as Drake, Post Malone, and Jessie Ware.

In addition to her work at Island Records, Atlanta has held various other roles in the industry. She has worked at Metropolis Studios, Eurovision with Rockart Design, marketing at Columbia Records (where she worked with artists like The Script, Leonard Cohen, and LEON), and for four years in artist management. Throughout her career, she has played an essential role in the success of multiple platinum-hit artists.

Atlanta has achieved remarkable success while working in the management teams of Ella Henderson, Becky Hill, and Cody Frost. In 2022, she founded her own 3x award-winning music coaching and consulting agency, Music Industry Mentor. This agency focuses on empowering independent artists worldwide by providing them with the knowledge, tools, and strategic clarity needed to build sustainable audiences and long-term careers in music.

In less than three years, Atlanta has organically gained over 110,000 followers across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. She has also received recent AIM Award and Women In Music Award nominations for “Best Entrepreneur.” Additionally, she has established herself as a trusted voice in the creator economy, candidly discussing the realities of building a music career and advocating for better treatment of artists and working professionals in the industry.

Atlanta has secured significant brand partnerships for Music Industry Mentor, including collaborations with Spotify, BBC Introducing, PRS for Music, Roland, MusixMatch, Duetti, Symphonic, and Ditto Music. Her work has been featured in various reputable publications, such as Business Insider, Yahoo! Entertainment, The Independent, Music Week, Daily Dot, and she recently received an invitation to join The Recording Academy (GRAMMYs) as a professional member.

Atlanta is widely respected for her content, which seamlessly blends educational insights, artist empowerment, and behind-the-scenes industry knowledge. This resonates with artists, managers, and executives alike, and her work has had a profound impact on artists from over 85 countries (and counting!).

Beyond her work with artists, Atlanta has become a highly sought-after speaker on some of the world’s largest industry stages. She regularly delivers guest workshops and keynote speeches for organizations such as SXSW, The Great Escape, Eurosonic, the Hollywood Independent Music Awards, Goldsmiths University, Sussex University, ACM, BIMM, LCCM, Point Blank, and Beyond The Music.

Her mission has always been clear: to demystify the music industry, challenge outdated models, and provide real, actionable support to artists and professionals navigating the complexities of digital music culture. This has helped thousands of artists around the globe secure record deals, monetize their music, secure international gigs, enter Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists, and grow meaningful online audiences from scratch.

Atlanta’s commitment to making the industry more transparent and inclusive has made her not only a sought-after marketing strategist but also a valued global audience and brand builder. Her impact goes beyond streams and metrics; it’s in the artists she has helped believe in themselves again and the industry professionals she has inspired to think differently. As the industry continues to evolve, she remains a fearless advocate for artist-first models and long-term thinking, even in an industry often obsessed with quick wins.

Her inclusion on the Roll Of Honour by Music Week is a testament to her past contributions, her relentless dedication to the music industry for over 14 years, and a powerful nod to the future she’s helping shape. It’s a future where women lead, stories matter, and the next generation of artists rise with purpose and power.
