Anna van Nunen is the Managing Director of Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS), Europe’s leading platform for emerging music talent. With a background in both the cultural sector and the startup ecosystem, she has built her career around creating space for new voices — whether in sustainability, innovation, or music.

Previously, Anna developed Innofest into a platform for testing sustainable innovations at festivals and worked as Commercial Director at Greener Power Solutions, an energy tech scale-up. She has also contributed to festivals such as Into The Great Wide Open and served on several cultural boards.

At ESNS, Anna is driven by the conviction that music is more than entertainment: it is a catalyst for unity in turbulent times and a platform for change. She sees supporting new talent as essential — not only to the future of music, but to building a more sustainable and connected world.
