Anca Lupeș is one of the most experienced professionals in the Romanian music industry. One of her greatest strengths is that, throughout her career in the music business, she has been active in almost all areas of the industry – mass media (press, radio, TV), concert organizing, record and publishing companies, management, and booking agencies.

Thanks to her extensive experience, in 2006 she started teaching Music Business in Romania. In 2009, she became the first Romanian music business professional to graduate from the Master in Music Business Program at Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA). The same year, she joined Musiconsult, an international network of music business consultants.

In 2016, she founded the first Romanian music business conference – Mastering the Music Business Conference & Showcase Festival – which quickly became one of the most relevant professional events in the CSEE region. She is considered a pioneer of music business training in Romania.

Currently, she is the President of the Romanian Artists Worldwide Association (aka RAW Music – the main organizer of the MMB conference and Romania´s official music export office, member of EMEE), Partner and CEO at Star Management, a 360° company specializing in services for artists and the music industry (established in 2004), Board Member of Star Education, an NGO whose main objective is to support Romanian artists in the field of music, and Executive Director of INDIERO Association (the Romanian Independent Labels and Music Publishers Association, Board Member of IMPALA).
