Emerging in 2020, ALI has revolutionized Bulgaria’s alternative rock scene. Led by the charismatic frontman Ali Abdala (vocals, guitar), this six-piece band has created a sound that is both introspective and anthemic. They seamlessly blend emotional depth with genre-defying instrumentals, captivating audiences with their unique musical style.

ALI’s meteoric rise began with their first five singles, which soared straight to the top of Bulgaria’s rock radio charts. This remarkable achievement established them as chart-topping newcomers with undeniable and unexpected talent.

Their live debut headlining the 2021 REBEL REBEL festival in Sofia marked a turning point in their journey. In 2022, they performed across Bulgaria, recorded an unforgettable live session at the legendary Studio 1 of Bulgarian National Radio, and supported the Dutch powerhouse De Staat.

ALI’s momentum continued in 2024 when they opened for the iconic British band The Editors. Their standout performance solidified their reputation as an impressive live act. Later that year, they took the stage at the Hills of Rock festival, sharing the bill with heavyweights like Korn and Bring Me The Horizon.

ALI’s growing fanbase extends beyond Bulgaria. Their original songs have garnered airplay in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, and Australia, attracting international attention. A special version of their single “Bliss+Blasphemy” was even chosen for a global campaign by the animal welfare organization FOUR PAWS.

Furthermore, their music has been featured in the soundtracks of several Bulgarian movies, further solidifying their cultural impact.

With their debut album, INTROVERSE, released and a wave of media and fan attention behind them, ALI is poised to make 2025 their most successful year yet. The band is gearing up for an international tour and is already planning new releases that promise to push their creative boundaries even further.
